Onkar Ghate, Dean

Ph.D., Philosophy, University of Calgary, 1998

Onkar Ghate Dr. Ghate is dean of the Objectivist Academic Center at ARI. He teaches courses in introductory philosophy and courses in Objectivism to various levels of students. His recent publications include “Postmodernism’s Kantian Roots” and “Objectivism: The Proper Alternative to Postmodernism” (co-authored with Dr. Edwin A. Locke) in Postmodernism and Management: Pros, Cons and the Alternative; “The Death Premise in We the Living and Atlas Shrugged” in Essays on Ayn Rand’s “We the Living”; an entry on Ayn Rand in the Encyclopedia of Science, Technology, and Ethics; and “Breaking the Metaphysical Chains of Dictatorship: Free Will and Determinism in ‘Anthem’” in Essays on Ayn Rand’s “Anthem.” Dr. Ghate is an alumnus of the Objectivist Graduate Center.

Keith Lockitch, Resident Fellow

Ph.D., Physics, University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, 1999

Keith LockitchDr. Lockitch is a fellow at ARI. He teaches writing courses for the OAC’s undergraduate program and a history of physics course for the graduate program. His writings have appeared in publications such as The Intellectual Activist, the Orange County Register and San Francisco Chronicle. Prior to joining ARI in 2003, Dr. Lockitch was a postdoctoral researcher in physics at the University of Illinois and at Pennsylvania State University. He is an alumnus of the Objectivist Graduate Center.

Eric Daniels, Guest Instructor

Ph.D., American History, University of Wisconsin, Madison, 2001

Eric DanielsDr. Daniels is a Visiting Scholar at Clemson University's Institute for the Study of Capitalism. He has lectured internationally on American history, particularly on American intellectual history, business history, and political history. He taught for five years at Duke University's Program on Values and Ethics in the Marketplace, where he was nominated for a university-wide teaching award. He has published articles in professional and popular publications. Dr. Daniels is an alumnus of the Objectivist Graduate Center.

Alex Epstein is a fellow at the Ayn Rand Center for Individual Rights, specializing in business issues. His op-ed articles have been published in hundreds of newspapers around the world. He is also a contributing writer for The Objective Standard, including an essay co-authored with Yaron Brook, "'Just War Theory' vs. American Self-Defense."

Elan Journo is a resident fellow at the Ayn Rand Center for Individual Rights, specializing in foreign policy issues. He is editor of and chief contributor to Winning the Unwinnable War: America's Self-Crippled Response to Islamic Totalitarianism. He is a writer, editor and speaker for ARC. His writings have appeared in such publications as the Los Angeles Times, Philadelphia Inquirer, Chicago Sun Times and the Globe and Mail of Canada. He is also a contributing writer for The Objective Standard.
